These generous-sized towels have the look of coming from another era but are hand woven in the "now" at LaHave Weaving Studio. Using natural linen tones for the towel's foundation, various stripe arrangements have been woven in using colours more often seen in past centuries in the soft goods trade.
There is nothing like natural fine linen. Hung from a hook by a linen tape fine linen creates a beautifully draped textile. 24" x 44" 62 cm x 112 cm
Cotolin, linen and hemp towels can be machine washed on a handwash or delicate cycle in cool water with a mild soap. While you certainly can put the towels in a dryer, I try not to use a dryer since use of the high heat often used in dryers will decrease the life span of any item. You can just hang the towel up to dry and iron it with steam on the linen setting. For a much easier ironing experience with linen, try to catch the item while it is still damp and you will find it much easier to iron out the wrinkles.
