The "log cabin" design is classic and timeless. The 50/50 silk/wool blend, woven in subtle colour combinations is warm yet very light. The lustre of the silk and the quiet interplay of the geometric horizontals and verticals present a classy look.
The LOG CABIN Scarf is available in two lengths. Regular can be worn hung or draped around the neck (62"/158 cm.) with a wider width or Euro-style where it is drawn through a loop at the neck (76"/157 cm.) and a narrower width. Travels well.
Silk/wool scarves should be either dry cleaned or gently washed in cool water with a mild soap and rolled in a large towel to absorb water. Then lay the scarf on a dry towel to dry. With this particular blend of fibres, high contrast colours can bleed onto each other so I do not use high contrast colours with this particular silk/wool yarn. When completely dry, use a linen tea towel or press cloth over the scarf and iron with steam. It's best not to let hot steam water drip on the silk/wool yarns, thus the use of a press cloth.
