Thursday, August 3, 4:00-5:30 p.m. Nancy Price & Lesley Armstrong, artists & teachers, will each talk about 5 of their favourite textiles, historical and contemporary. Join us for a conversation and tea. Feel free to bring your handwork!

Thursday, August 10, 4:00-5:30 p.m. “Imagining Your Next Project”. Bring a work sample or a past textile project that you'd like to expand. Nancy Price & Lesley Armstrong will talk about ways to explore your imagination to delve further or deeper into your ideas. Join us for conversation and tea.

Thursday, August 17, 4:00-5:30 p.m. Anke Fox, artist & teacher of the Tapestry Workshop at LaHave Weaving Studio this week, will talk about the Wissa Wassef and Harrania Tapestry Workshops in Egypt. Join us for conversation and tea.

Sunday, Sept. 17, 4:00-5:30 p.m. “Threadheads Mini-Workshops”. Anne Morison, costume decorator, will teach us a surface embroidery stitch. Then Polly Greene, quilter & weaver, will show us how to braid rugs (bring a pair of scissors & several one-inch wide fabric strips that are at least a 2 or 3 feet long).

(bring your own mug). The first half of each session will be a brief presentation and the second half will be informal conversation. Feel free to bring any handwork (knitting, hooking, darning, quilting, stitching…) to work on
